ALEXANDRA FONG

ABOUT

b. 1986, HK.

Hello there! I'm Alex, an experienced graphic designer and creative living in Brooklyn. I spent my first two and a half years after graduating from Parsons School of Design in 2019 working at a large international architecture firm. I created both print and digital assets, such as books, presentations, social media content, and posters, all of which helped the firm win architecture jobs all over the world. I am now freelancing as a graphic designer for the luxury skincare brand, La Mer. I am part of the creative team helping to produce and design the brand’s global campaigns.

My journey to design began after graduating from the University of Southern California in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Communication, at which point I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in the creative industry. After heading to Barcelona to study interior design and graphic design for a year, I moved to New York City where I earned an associate’s degree in graphic design from Parsons School of Design in 2019.

I am deeply interested in publication design, branding, and art direction. Through my work, I strive to create bold, beautiful, and functional designs by experimenting with forms, color combinations, and typography. I love making use of varied creative styles and believe that there is no limit to what I can learn in the process. When I’m not working, you may find me walking my pup in the park, thrifting, and checking out art galleries.
